The NPSN joined many of the Area’s EMS and Fire agencies yesterday in welcoming the National EMS “Moving Memorial Honors” in their procession across the United States. The Moving Honors pays tribute to the 37 EMS heroes who gave their lives in the line of duty last year. You are not forgotten.

As we close out this week, the Nevada Peer Support Network proudly recognizes the brave men and women of Search and Rescue teams across Nevada and beyond.

When others are running from danger, SAR professionals and volunteers run toward it — through storms, rugged terrain, darkness, disasters, and uncertainty — all to bring someone home safely. Their courage, teamwork, and commitment embody the very spirit of service and resilience.

Search and Rescue is more than a mission… it’s a calling.
Behind every rescue is a team carrying physical demands, emotional weight, critical decisions, and the responsibility of protecting lives in the most challenging environments imaginable.
