YESCO is on exhibit!

A new exhibit showcases electric sign company YESCO’s influence on Las Vegas ‘Up Las Vegas: YESCO Marks a Glittering Century,’ presented by the LVCVA and the Neon Museum, runs May 6 through August 29 at Clark County Museum.

We originally received a call from a representative of Walker Burger’s in Coleville, California for repair of a wind damaged face. We ended up not only replacing the damaged face, but both faces on the pole sign and completed an LED lighting retrofit to the cabinet. The neon OPEN letters had also failed and due to the 100+ mile distance from our shop in Reno, the customer chose to replace the neon OPEN letters with an outdoor grade LED OPEN sign.

A 60-month extended labor warranty was also included in the project.

The goal at Pamlico Air is to provide clean air and better health through air filtration products and services. One of their manufacturing plants is strategically located in Reno, Nevada.

YESCO supplied both interior and exterior signage to the facility The identification package included displays for the lobby, letters on a metal door, exterior signs for the planter areas, vinyl logos and copy applied to the warehouse door, and the main building identification.

The historic El Dorado Motel was built in 1949 located on Virginia Street just south of downtown in Reno, Nevada. As time went on the motel changed multiple owners and was on its way to being forgotten.

In late 2019 Kramer Properties revitalized the property but left the sign in place. Today, the El Dorado Motel is accepting guests and features a neon-lit patio and a really cool sign.
