Praying that you all are doing well, as well as your family and friends that we prayed for last night. Remember to be safe and don't go out unless you absolutely have to.

Ok everyone tomorrow night is going to be special service as you will be embarking on another school year before we see you next week! We want to take the time to cover each of you in prayer as you get ready for another school year or a new journey if you’ve graduated!

With every new school year or journey in our lives we are usually very excited initially, right?When I was in school I loved the opportunity to get new supplies, book bags, and a few new pieces of clothing! I was also extremely excited to meet teachers and could not wait to take notes in my brand new notebooks but quickly that excitement turned into dread. Stay with me here, I have a point!

I said all of that to say that we all are motivated by the new until new wears off but God wants us to remain content in Him regardless of the exciting or not so exciting things. And He not only wants us to take Him to school for others but also for US and through our steadfastness, contentment and commitment that only comes from Him, we glimmer and shine. He wants to be our source in everything we do so we aren’t tossed and thrown by the ups and downs of our emotions and feelings.

Sooooooo....as we prepare for another school year let God our Father be at the top of our list! He is constant when nothing else is and He will be your source if you let Him. We love you and so look forward to seeing you all tomorrow night!
