Today, we released three new SEQUAL reports exploring work environment conditions facing early childhood educators in settings across the United States!

The Teacher's Voices series examines work environment conditions that impact teacher practice and well-being, and program quality. Three new reports shed light on the importance of supportive early childhood work environments and their relationship to educator well-being and quality-rating scores.

Focusing on the states of New York, and Minnesota, as well as Miami-Dade County in Florida, the 2017-2018 studies reveal common workplace challenges that posed barriers to early child care educator well-being and effectiveness in the classroom. Findings also demonstrate the value of program policies that ensure consistent workplace supports, autonomy in teaching practices, and provisions for paid planning and reporting time.
