I've got a new workshop brewing! All those summer short sleeve, tanktops, and strapless cute tops.... how do your shoulders measure up?

If you want to get some more definition and sexy curves in your shoulders, arms, and back then this workshop is for you!

If you want to be able to safely bring down that tote of holiday decorations off the top shelf in your garage (this was my call to action! overhead reaching and lifting felt sooo wobbly and weak! I couldn't believe my own arms!), then this workshop is for you.

And the side effect - a stronger core.

I haven't had a single patient that couldn't benefit from a calf stretch. Just face it, our calves have a lot to do during our day. They help us walk, get up from a chair, balance, turn around corners, jump, sprint.... let's give them the love they deserve and stretch them out a couple times/day. Here's an example of an easy way to stretch them when you're out and about.
I've been doing so much walking these past few weeks (and incorporating some jogging intervals) as I'm continuing to rehab my knee! It's coming along!

What's your favorite outdoor activity to do? I'm happy anytime that I'm outside with the sunshine on my face. I challenge you to make a point to go outside today and do some "exercise". That might mean deep breathing on a lounge chair, or taking a hike, or a bike ride along the strand, or skiing (yes, still plenty of ski days left on the calendar this season!), or pulling weeds (NOT using weedkiller!), or, or, or?? How will you honor the earth and your body today?

This cold weather makes my muscles feel tight. 🥶 It makes me less motivated to move around. I woke up this morning with some tightness in my back - on the edge of pain... The first thing I did was to lay down and do this stretch. It helped immediately. I expect I'll have to do it a few more times today to keep the pain away.
That's the beauty of knowing the right exercise to do. I want to share these many, many helpful pain-relieving tips with you!
Back stiffness? I got you. Kink in your neck? I got you. Click in your shoulder? I got you. Catch in your knee? I got you.
