They say to appreciate what our bodies can do.

They don't say preparing for a child has so much more to do with loving our bodies strength through the moments we feel so different than society says we "should be".

Every mom I get in front of my lens has the same thoughts, they don't recognize themselves, they feel "huge" and after having my own 6 babies, (including a set of twins) I can understand that feeling.

Motherhood is a great honor and privilege, yet it is also synonymous with servant-hood.

Every SINGLE day women are called upon to selflessly meet the needs of their families. Whether they are awake at night nursing a baby, spending their time and money on less-than-grateful teenagers, or preparing meals, moms continuously put others before themselves, and this ALL starts HERE in these captures, of THIS beautiful woman with her gorgeous belly carrying a lifetime of gracious and voluntary servitude. This is why we need to care for our women.

Please revel in the beauty of your creation. In the beauty of your contribution to life and the undying love you will continue to have for this sweet baby girl. Frankie, it was so much fun capturing you in such a pivotal point in your life and hers.
