Even after doing this for over 5 years total, I'm still learning as I go 😆
As many of you know, I launched my new frozen/refrigerated gluten-free cookie dough tubs this week in two stores, with a third location being added next week- plus they're available (for now) to preorder directly from me.
I've never had issues with my regular white labels on cookies, cakes, or other products~even when frozen, they usually thaw with little to no condensation. Unfortunately, these cookie dough tubs have been a different story. 🙃
After these last few days, I am realizing the labels are collecting condensation and getting super wet as they thaw.
So, I'm making a change! The cookie dough tubs will now have clear, water-resistant labels in hopes of preventing any bleeding or damage when they thaw. I apologize if you have purchased a tub and notice the label isn't holding up. No, it doesn't affect the quality of the product, but it still shouldn't be happening. So I am fixing this-fast! 🫠 The new labels will be on all cookie dough tubs going forward. You might still see an old label though until they sell out at the stores, and my new ones are brought in.

Can we just take a moment and talk about gluten-free cookies? 🍪
We've all wasted money on disappointments (from grocery store cookies, bakery cookies that claim to be amazing, and those homemade attempts that just...weren't 😆).

This is exactly why I started my bakery.

To me, the perfect gluten-free cookie must:

🍪 Have a soft, chewy center with a lightly crisp edge that stays fresh and delicious for more than just a day. And I'll say it...grainy cookies are disgusting. 😑 Unfortunately, that's what you find most of the time.

🍪 Have just the right amount of mix-ins in every bite (but not so many that they take away from that perfect cookie texture you've missed for so long. You still want to taste that rich, buttery cookie dough. 😋)

🍪 Be sweet, but not too sweet. A little extra salt balances everything out. Although, some of my very own cookie flavors are STILL a tad too sweet for me! But y'all love 'em. 😆

🍪 Taste buttery, but never greasy. Thickness matters, too~and it is in part thanks to the amount of butter used. I'm personally not a chunky cookie fan (I know they're all the rage right now!), but I want a cookie that's easy to bite into and melts in your mouth.

🍪 Be made with high-quality, real ingredients. Real butter. Real vanilla. No fake stuff.

Most importantly?A gluten-free cookie
👏 shouldn't 👏 taste 👏 gluten-free. 👏
With ingredients costing what they do, every bite of the end product should be worth the price you are paying for it.
I can promise you this: once you try a Frosted GF Delights cookie, you'll never forget it. And you'll probably keep checking the label just to make sure it's really gluten-free. 😂

These Almond Coconut Joy cookies were baked today and sent off to stores-they were so perfect, I just had to share them with you! 🤌
