**Grand Success: Three-Day Event in Tapting Dudkhundha**

We are thrilled to report the incredible success of our recent three-day event held in Tapting Dudkhundha, which brought together the communities of Okhaldhunga and Solu Khumbu for a series of impactful activities.

1. **Volleyball Tournament**: The highlight of the event was a thrilling volleyball tournament featuring over 20 teams from Okhaldhunga and Solu Khumbu districts. The competition was fierce, showcasing the talent and sportsmanship of our local athletes, fostering community spirit and camaraderie among participants and spectators alike.

2. **Eye Camp**: Alongside the tournament, we organized a two-day eye camp that provided essential eye examinations to over 250 patients. The camp successfully facilitated the removal of cataracts for more than 35 individuals, significantly improving their quality of life and restoring their vision. This initiative underscored our commitment to health and well-being in the region.

3. **Support for Flood Victims**: In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity, we donated 1,250,000 rupees to the families of five women and children who tragically lost their lives in recent floods in Tapting and Gorahkani villages. Each family received 250,000 rupees, along with an additional education fund of 500,000 rupees to support the future of their surviving children. This initiative reflects our dedication to helping the most vulnerable members of our community during times of crisis.

4. **Closing Ceremony**: The event culminated in a vibrant closing ceremony featuring performances by renowned Nepali artists, including Prem Raja Mahat, Rose Muktan, and Bijay Lama. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Miss Tamang 2024, Riya Lama, as well as esteemed local leaders, including Mayor Mr. Namgyal Jangbu Sherpa and Deputy Mayor G Gandhi Maya Tamang from Solukhumbu District. Their participation added to the event's significance, celebrating community resilience and the power of unity.

In conclusion, the three-day event in Tapting Dudkhundha was not only a celebration of sports and health but also a profound demonstration of community support and compassion. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated, volunteered, and contributed to making this event a resounding success. Together, we are building a brighter future for our communities.
