Field Engineer
Job description:
Paint out and survey utilities and utilities locate markings.
Call in locates and work with utility owners to obtain maps.
Survey and stick utility poles with hot stick and IKE unit.
Create pole matrix spreadsheet based on the survey of poles.
Mark-up utilities on CAD base map.
Produce aerial engineering solutions, identify reroute opportunities, and call out make-ready engineering.
Understanding of NESC codes.
Understanding of underground and aerial construction practices. (strand & lash, trench, bore, etc.)
Determine constructability issues and provide advice on the correct construction methodology.
Update and manage SharePoint tasks.
Work with Field Manager and provide status updates and progress reports.
Advanced Responsibilities:
Create ADA curb ramp and apron designs.
Input and produce GIS data for customer distribution.
Input utility lines and structures directly into AutoCAD.
Use O-Calc, SPIDAcalc, and other software to create pole loading reports and analysis.'
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

NOW HIRING - Field Engineer
The ideal candidate will be responsible for fielding projects on time and within budget. Fielder will be asked to do multiple tasks and needs to be self motivated and driven to get accurate and precise data that is requested.
-Work with Field Manager and OSPE Engineers on daily tasks.
-Will be asked to spray paint and call locates on 811 system.
-Attends training sessions.
-Field utility poles for attachment heights with pole stick or IKE.
-Enters field data into Fulcrum system or on prints as needed.
-Can read or learn to read telecom prints and KMZ's.
-Photo surveys of UG projects and utilities.
-Utility markups on prints.
-Track all Mileage and expense to turn in bi-weekly.
-Maintain QC standards for customer and company.
-Maintain team moral and communicate any issues with existing employees to HR.
-Conduct site walks with customers & contractors.
-Will be available to work extended hours as needed.
