Here’s an underrated reason to create video content: It helps you win offline, too.
I’ll have a great conversation with someone at a networking event...then they go check out my social or website later. And the content does the follow-up for me.
They’ll DM or email after the fact saying: “Hey, just saw your videos—would love to work together.” That’s the hidden power of having content that actually reflects your brand.
It’s not just for the people already scrolling on social.
- It backs you up after in-person convos.
- It builds trust when you’re not in the room.
- It turns “nice to meet you” into “let’s work together.”
That’s why networking + video content go hand in hand.

5 years ago I was on the fence about becoming a Physician Assistant or going all in on my business… and one video I made gave me the unexpected clarity I needed…
I thought I created something simple, straight forward and story driven, yet it was impactful enough to bring tears of joy to peoples eyes.
It blew my mind that what I created could do that…
I was working in the hospital as an ER tech and a coworker had passed away. My manager asked me to create a video with photos and some voice recordings they had of her.
There were some people who were super happy to share their photos with me before I created the video, and then after they watched the video, they came to me with tears saying that they couldn’t believe I momentarily brought her back to life…
That was they day I knew I needed to go all in on my business
Determined, I spent thousands of dollars on coaches and courses to learn more about how to make this business work.
Fast forward to today, I get to have so much fun creating with a team of people, capturing passionate messages and helping people grow their businesses. Even though I left the medical field, I find myself loving to help those in the health and wellness spaces. I think it is a huge win when people can get the education and help they need, before it becomes too late and they end up in the hospital.
At the end of the day, I love what I do because I am able to help connect good people to good people.
