The most beautiful part of the stories Jesus told isn't the grand theology. It is the moments of simple, quiet kindness.

In the parable of the sheep and the goats, the people who were celebrated were the ones who were actually confused. They didn't think they were doing anything "divine" by feeding the hungry or visiting the lonely. They just saw a need and met it. Faith is what we do when we stop looking for a reward and start looking at each other.
