Help Needed: There are two Seniors in need of help. One is a female senior citizen who broke her food and needs help with light housekeeping (she has a cat). The other is a male senior citizen who needs a ride to a doctor's appointment. If you can help either of these individuals, please send an email to Tom via [email protected] to let him know as soon as possible. He will give you specific details for each of the seniors!

Dad's Wanted: The Jefferson Elementary School's Watch D.O.G.S. meeting will be on Thursday, September 19, 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Jefferson is looking for more dads! Come and learn about the WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students!) program. The WATCH D.O.G.S. program's goal is to engage men, inspire children, reduce bullying and enhance the educational environment in the school by providing positive male role models for the students. Volunteers spend a day in the school taking part in morning announcements, helping students in the classroom, eating lunch with students and are involved in other fun and visible activities. They are "heroes" in the school!
