25 years ago today we started on a journey without knowing where it would take us! We had no idea we would meet so many amazing people.... both employees and customers! Our lives have been filled with so many amazing people.
We started that first day with 3 customers and a lot of faith and ambition.
The first year Jeff would go from Redding to Weaverville and back to Cottonwood then to Lakehead to take care of our valued customers. I had no idea the distance he travelled between jobs. I had a daycare in our home with 2 small children of our own ....answering phones and scheduling new services while taking care of children left in my care and working the graveyard shift at Taco Bell while Jeff took care of our girls and handled the evenings at our home.
At the end of our first year we had 213 customers. We were so grateful!!
Our family made some sacrifices thru the years.....canceling many activities and vacations because we were needed at work. There has also been many benefits ... too many to list!
We have been so lucky to be supported by our family and friends....and the best employees we could ask for.
Here we are 25 years later very grateful for all we have. An amazing group of employees that we like to call family. Amazing support of family and friends and a lot of hard work.
Our customers are amazing, all 3400 of them! Thank you for believing in us and allowing us to take care of your pest control needs. We truly appreciate each one of you.
As we look back on today and all the love and support our employees showed us, it reminds us why we are doing this......it’s the people that matter. We will continue to strive to be the best employer we can be. And we will always do everything we can to make our valued customers #1.

Bedbugs are nocturnal insects that feed primarily on human blood, which is required for them to develop and reproduce. A bedbug needs a blood meal in each of its five instars, or immature stages, during which it molts and eventually becomes an adult. Males even seek out recently fed females with whom to mate.

Mated females lay two to five small, cream-colored eggs at a time and will deposit 200 to 500 eggs in their lifetimes.The eggs hatch anywhere from six to 10 days with up to four generations possibly occurring in one year. The pests tend to live in aggregations near the bed as well as in upholstered furniture where people rest (couches, chairs, etc). With large Infestations, bed bugs may be found in less predictable areas such as in books, electronic equipment and small appliances. From egg to egg, the bedbug lifecycle takes four to five weeks when relative humidity is 75 to 80 percent and the temperature is 83 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit (28 to 30 degrees Celsius). The lifecycle timeframe may lengthen when temperatures are reduced or blood meals are limited.
