NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE

SUBJECT: City Road Closure – Park Marina Drive

WHEN: February 7, 2025 through TBD

CONTACT: Josh Anthony at City of Redding Engineering Division
(530) 225-4175 or [email protected]

A portion of Park Marina Drive from South Street to approximately 300 feet east of Parkview Avenue will be subject to road closures including all side streets and business entrances.

The closure will take place beginning around 8:00AM on February 7, 2025 immediately beneath the Cypress Avenue bridge and grow to encompass the entire area as shown on the attached map as conditions dictate.
During these traffic closures, the Bureau of Reclamation will be releasing increased amounts of water from Keswick Dam which have the potential to flood the lower elevated areas of Park Marina Drive and the surrounding businesses. The City is monitoring the increased released from Keswick Dam and the subject roadways will be reopened once the area is cleared for public access. The duration for increased release is currently unknown.

The City of Redding wishes to advise all motorists to drive with caution when approaching these areas or avoid them if possible.

Emergency Services vehicles will not be allowed access to flooded areas but will be granted access through closed areas that are not flooded.
