I picked up a set of lens’s for my iPhone a few months ago and hadn’t even used them. So, yesterday I decided to try them out. The set came with a macro lens. I was surprised at how well the little lens provided photos. These are just a few of the exposures. My hands shake so much now that I am going to have to use a tripod because I’m macro photography, the camera has to be still to keep in focus.

YouTube Notifications

Hi everyone. I was talking to a friend the other day and asked her if she was getting notified by YouTube when I would post new videos on my channel. She explained to me she had to do some things before she finally started receiving the notifications. I wonder how many more of you are not receiving the notifications? If you have subscribed to any of my 3 channels, you should be notified when I post new videos. If you are not receiving notifications and you are subscribed, you should verify some things in order for YouTubes notification system to work properly.

1. Make sure you are logged into your account with YouTube. If you don’t have an account, you will not be notified.

2. When you watch a video, you’ll see a little “Subscribe” button on the bottom right of the video. You need to click on that Subscribe button. Next to it you should see a little bell icon. Click on the bell. Once you do, option box should pop-up with 3 options. All, personalized, or none. Make sure you select ”all.”

3. Go into the settings on your device. Your laptop, tablet, iPhone, whatever you are using. Under the Settings category there is a Notification category. Open that up and you will see a list of all the Apps installed on your device. Scroll all the way down until you see YouTube. Make sure you allow for all notifications for YouTube. On my iPhone, there is a toggle switch. I toggle it to the green position. That’s the setting to receive notifications.

Now you should receive the notifications from YouTube. After you do these things and you are still not receiving the notifications, then I suggest that you contact YouTube support for assistance. But I think once you do these actions, you should receive them.
