TRUE Ride Etiquette (AKA How to Be Everyone’s Favorite Riding Buddy)

🚲 Arrive a few minutes early.
Your bike isn’t going anywhere, but class is. Give yourself time to clip in, get settled, and avoid the Tour de Front Desk.

🧴 Easy on the perfume, cologne, and body spray.
We’re all breathing heavily in a room together. Let your effort leave an impression, not your fragrance.

💬 Save the catch-up for before or after class.
We love that you’re friends, but your coach’s motivational speech shouldn’t have to compete with your Costco story.

📱 Phones on silent, screens face down.
The only notifications you need for the next 45 minutes are your legs reminding you they’re still attached.

🙌 Encourage, don’t compare.
Everyone’s ride looks different. Whether it’s your first class or your thousandth, we’re all on the same team.

😄 Most importantly: Have fun.
Fitness is hard enough. Laugh a little, dance a little, and remember. We’re riding stationary bikes in a dark room to music. Let’s not take ourselves too seriously.

Sharing for our local athletes! Who’s competing?

🏊🚴🏃‍♀️ Who is racing this year?

Do you know someone training for Ironman 70.3 Redding this August?

Tag them below! 👇

The Redding Parks & Trails Foundation is launching Race for Redding, a community-powered fundraising campaign that gives local athletes the opportunity to turn their training into impact.

Athletes can create a fundraising page through Ironman’s Your Journey, Your Cause platform, share their story, and help raise funds for the parks and trails they use every day.

Every dollar raised stays right here in Redding and supports trail improvements, park beautification, and outdoor recreation opportunities for our community.

On race weekend, come celebrate with us and grab a drink from the Redding Parks & Trails Foundation on the lawn at the Civic Auditorium while cheering on local athletes!
