Jim and Aria got off the property today! I was definitely a bit rusty, but these two are so honest and took everything in stride. They were definitely wondering why everything was so small 🤣

Welcome to our new page!

I am Maya Wentz-Guzman and this page will now be run with Alex Guzman as our joint business of Hidden Palms Equine 🌴

We both work full-time jobs, but when we’re not working, we’re pretty much always at the barn.

I’ve evented up to the 2* level, and now I’m focusing on producing some young horses, bringing them along with hopes of getting back out and competing soon. I also work at the World Equestrian Center, where I handle all of the rental horse shows that happen there — so horses are literally my job and my life.

Alex works full-time for a contractor, and when he’s not on a job site, he’s training young polo horses, doing practices, and getting them ready to play. He’s putting in the miles right now and hoping to get into more games as those horses progress.

This page will be all about balancing real life, full-time careers, and chasing our goals in the horse world… whether that’s polo, eventing, young horses, or everything in between 🐴✨
