It’s Spring on the farm!
These two geese stopped by for a quick visit this morning.

This afternoon a deer was in the horse field, it bounded over the fence into the yard. When we went out to watch it there was a bald Eagle with a fish flying up from the pond.

Doesn’t everyone’s dog have pet chickens?

Wildlife on the farm.
I am discovering new species every day and seeing some old friends too.

Todays surprise was a black bellied whistling duck.

Other birds on the farm are red shouldered hawks, swallow-tailed kite, cardinals, jays, bluebirds. a great blue heron and so many crows.
