We are looking for individual who are interested in performing the duties of a security officer .

Having your NJ SORA Certified Security Officer License is a plus but not mandatory. We will assist you in receiving your NJ Security Officer License.

The position may include, but not limited to, undertaking foot and mobile patrol, entry and access point of our client's premises and protection of our their residents and visitors. You will be responsible for signing in the entry and exit of all individuals. You will also be required to detect any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior. A security officer must be well-trained in surveillance and dealing with perpetrators. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation. The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free.

Responsibilities

Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence

Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property

Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area

Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations

Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts

Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions

Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation

Provide assistance to people in need

Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities

Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

This position starts immediately. We prefer that the applicant be prepared to start ASAP. We also prefer that all applicants have transportation to and from work. All applicants must be prepared to arrive 15 mins prior to their shift.

The positions we are currently covering is in the Monmouth/Ocean County Areas. You must be able to travel and cover all posts during a certain shift.

Seaside Heights
The hours are 10:30a - 5:30p Mon - Sun

Freehold Twp
The hours are 12p - 7p Mon - Sun
Applicant must be able to pass a criminal background check (if they have not already obtained their SORA License) they must also have a flashlight and black shoes and/or tactical boots. Will be required to wear a mask for the entirety of the shift.
