AN EVENING WITH GROUCHO

Congratulations to John Timpane and Don Rooney on the 200th episode of their podcast. For many years John was the theater critic for the Philadelphia Inquirer and supported my work as director/actor when I played the Walnut Street Theatre and Bucks County Playhouse. He was one of the first to publicly acknowledge and laud my work beyond the ‘Groucho’ and ‘Caesar’ roles - when he reviewed “Laughter on the 23rd Floor,” “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,” “Ken Ludwig’s A Comedy of Tenors.” And John wrote a valentine when I played AN EVENING WITH GROUCHO.
