The Few, the Proud.
Marines from Detachment 1, Combat Logistics Battalion 25 (CLB-25) recently conducted joint Helicopter Support Team (HST) training with the “Hustlers” of Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 772 (HMH-772), part of Marine Aircraft Group 49 (MAG-49), 4th Marine Aircraft Wing
The focus was on helicopter support teams (HSTs), a critical capability for expeditionary forces. HST operations enable the rapid delivery and retrieval of essential items and equipment, providing crucial logistical support over great distances. This hands-on practice not only increases the proficiency of the ground teams from CLB – 25 but also provides an invaluable opportunity for the pilots and air crew of HMH – 772 to perfect their skills. This seamless integration between air and ground units as what makes the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) so effective.
