Lunch Break was honored to participate in this year’s Advocacy Day in Trenton, hosted by NJ Center for Nonprofits. 📢 🙌 New Jersey Center for Nonprofits
The day provided an incredible opportunity to connect with passionate, like-minded professionals from nonprofit organizations across New Jersey, all working toward a common goal: strengthening our communities and advocating for the people and causes we serve. ☺️
We were grateful to hear inspiring remarks from Lieutenant Governor Dr. Dale G. Caldwell, Assemblywoman Verlina Reynolds-Jackson and many outstanding leaders from the nonprofit sector. Their insights reinforced the vital role nonprofits play in addressing some of our state’s most pressing challenges. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
In addition to meaningful discussions and advocacy efforts, we enjoyed the opportunity to tour the New Jersey State Museum and gain a deeper appreciation for our state’s rich history and culture. 🏢
As we continue our work serving individuals and families in our community, we look forward to collaborating with fellow nonprofits and policymakers to advance legislation that supports organizations making a difference every day, from housing and food security to environmental stewardship, education, health and countless other causes that strengthen New Jersey. 💙
