In this video, I'm saying goodbye to Wilma and Sally as they begin the next chapter of their journey.

These two are a bonded pair, and today they're heading off together to their forever home.

Rescue work can be bittersweet. You grow attached to the animals you care for, celebrate their progress, and then one day it's time to let them go.

As difficult as those goodbyes can be, they're also the goal.

At the end of this short video, I close the trailer door and send them on their way to the loving home they deserve. 💛

This little guy had one speed—FAST! 😆 Even at 6'3", I found myself moving quickly just to keep up with him. He clearly loved getting outside, stretching his legs, and enjoying some time away from the kennel.

The best news of all? Duke has already been adopted and will soon be enjoying life with his forever family. ❤️
