We're all familiar with the traditional protein balls & the different variations that have been made. Welp, this morning I made my one variation!! It's the traditional protein ball with a ~twist~ BANANA. Who doesn't love PB & banana together? Not sure how or why this idea came to me, but boy am I glad it did 😍 so delicious, offering protein & carbs to refuel after the workout AND sneak in a serving of fruit 👌🏽 I will forever be trying to add bananas to anything, they're my fav. 🍌 ••• SCROLL ➡️ for the recipe!! I'm not sure about anyone else, but I'm the type of person who gets bored fairly quickly 🤷🏼‍♀️ When I woke up today I did NOT want to run. Typically I run for about 35-45 minutes a day straight, & today that just sounded like torture, so instead I made up an at home "circuit". If you have a treadmill at home, perfect that's what I used! If not, do the workout outside! 🌤 I only used the treadmill because it sets the pace for me, & I wanted to make sure I started out slower & got faster as I went along. It made the run go by faster and worked other muscles while keeping the heart rate ⬆️!! ••• But what's most important here is the food after. What's great about working out at home?? You get the proper carbs & proteins your body needs ‼️immediately‼️after finishing the workout. It is said you should refuel your body within 15 minutes of being done & that's almost impossible to do if I'm at the gym. Post workout grubs are important to me, but I'll save most of those fun facts for another day 😜 It's almost Friday, don't forget to smile! 🙂 ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
