Late to post but can now be found at Farm Market every second Saturday and most all other events held in Amsterdam Missouri!! Over the weekend I had my famous banana bread, chocolate chip cookies, Cuppy Cakes, and more! Such a great turn out!

I was given the honor to bake for my Uncle’s 80th birthday. The way his face lit up and his comments made my whole year! “You’re an artist my dear! An absolute artist!” His words struck a cord and I almost cried. It was like being told by the master that I did so good. Told me it was an honor to be able to enjoy my work too!

Not too often do I feel like my baking is art but I felt like a dream came true. All the compliments and pictures taken of the whole table!

There is something so peaceful about baking that makes my heart be calm. Tried something new with both of these cupcakes. BOTH are gluten free!! I was shocked at my own self and how amazing they turned out. I am grateful for my calmness and being in the kitchen.

Almost a year later & what seems like a life time I am back at it.

James and Raven celebrated four years of marriage in June and I had the pleasure of giving them my take on their wedding cake.

I haven’t posted in awhile and wanted to share some of my most recent cakes.

This is a ghirardelli dark chocolate & espresso cake with a peanut butter buttercream frosting. Skulls are also ghirardelli dark chocolate filled with a peanut butter filled and a dark chocolate ganache.

So rich but oh so amazing! And the peanut butter has protein in it so it’s totally acceptable to go back for two slices! 😉
