This past week, I went to my quarterly oncology appointment at Wheeling Hospital and met a wonderful lady who checked me in to see the doctor. In just a few minutes of conversation, I was to discover that she and her husband had been suffering badly from the loss of their beloved dog. My heart instantly ached for them, as we went back and forth talking about our magnificent dogs and how we suffered. After I left the hospital, I couldn't get her pain out of my head, so I went home to gather a couple of things and went back to give them to her and for her husband. I hope I was able to help them feel better, even for 5 minutes, and if they are able to read this, I have been thinking of them since then and my heart truly aches for the two of them, if there is absolutely anything I can do to help with the pain, I hope they message me! Sometimes it's just nice to know that people care and understand when we lose our beloved pets, and I want Shelly and her husband to know, I certainly do care❤️

We at Samaritan For Pets want to thank Paul Sweeney’s Local Charity Celebration for inviting us out to their wonderful event this past weekend. We had the opportunity to meet a lot of great people and organizations as well as share our story to all of the attendees. This event was one of a kind and we can not wait to attend next years!
