Today was Firefighter Memorial Sunday at Randolph Firefighters Local 1268. We would like to thank all those who attended and a special thank you to Lucky’s 777 Bar & Grill who provided breakfast for all those that attended. At approximately 4:30 am this morning 7/7/24 Mansfield Engine 33 was operating at a MVA on 495 Southbound just prior to exit 27 in Norton when the Engine was struck by a tractor trailer truck. No one was in the Engine at the time and there were no injuries from the secondary accident. The Engine has sustained significant damage to the front passenger's side of the vehicle.

The tractor trailer unit did not stop after the accident. The only description of the TT unit at this time is a TT unit with a white trailer with significant damage to the front drivers side of the Tractor portion. It anyone witnessed the accident or has any information on the TT unit please contact the Massachusetts State Police
