Want some good news about our roads? We celebrated recently with MassDOT and ServiceNow the launch of a new vehicle Crash reporting system in Massachusetts. The new system more effectively collects crash reports, ensures the quality of the data, and then efficiently distributes the right data to the right stakeholders. This helps transportation and public safety staff when designing and planning our roads. The new system includes richer data about vulnerable users of our roads - such as pedestrians and transit users - and is revealing new learnings for safer roads. We also commend MassDOT and local law enforcement for the great strides they’re making towards fully digital reporting.
