I picked up this M160 Ribbon mic recently and it’s been sounding absolutely amazing as I’ve been tracking a lot of guitars for some new songs. The convenience of digital systems is awesome but nothing is like the sound of a mic in front of a loud amp 🤘

Here at Type 1 Recording, we’re obsessed with great guitar tone. Choose from our amazing amps such as our BE-50 Deluxe, JVM410H, 68 Custom Twin Reverb, Custom-built 50 Watt Plexi, and the 1970RK.
Our cabinets include the Marshall 1960A 4x12 loaded with Celestion G12M Greenback Speakers, Guytron 2x12, and a custom built 2x12 loaded with Celestion T-75 Speakers. Our pedals include everything from Eventide multi-effects, MXR pedals, and even hidden gems such as our R2R Electric Treble Booster and Flattley Revolution Overdrive and DG Fuzz.
