RMHS Track and Field

It was a hot night on the track at DHSHS and our Rattlers continue to improve. We had a number of PR's, season bests and records broken. On the girls side, C. Gervin, A. Navarro and K. Anes, R. Corona, A. Ross and A. Villagran all PR'd in the sprints. M. McMullen PR'd in the 1600. J. Hawkins set a new school record in the long jump with a 16'3.5". On the boys side, J. Valle, M. Angulo, B. Woody, J. Carter, JJ Lopez, and L. Cervantes also PR'd in the sprints. J. Young, J. Waddill, E. Machuca, A. Alvarez, D. Garita PR'd in middle distances. T. Robinson PR'd in the 1600. S. Esparza, C. Aguilar, J. Buelna and D. Escobar all PR'd in throws. J. Carter, N. Hook and C. Gervin qualified to run the 200 in the DEL finals. The Rattlers run again at the Beaumont Invitational on Saturday.
