FB friends, this is an appeal that everyone Get out & VOTE in this 2024 election! Rumors are that some folks don't plan to vote because of disappointment with the "President" candidates. News Flash - there are a lot of other important seats being filled in this Election! In NC, the votes will determine who will be the next Governor, Lt Governor, Attorney General, Senate & House reps, many legal system court Judges, School system leaders . . . So every VOTE will count in all of our LOCAL governing elections! All can view your sample ballots for your state & county via the Board of Elections websites. FYI, to make it quicker & convenient to vote in NASH County, there is a NEW Polling site for Early Voting thru Nov 2 at UNC Nash Hospital. As an Official "Poll Observer" at that site the first 2 days of Early Voting, it's the best kept voting secret, almost NO lines & limited waiting to vote there (in & out in 10-15 min). If not for yourself, VOTE for your kids & grand kid's sake.
