Following the Field

This hawk has been hanging out with me all day! Even before it started raining all the way to the 3.5"mark on the rain guage. Nice to have a comrade on a rainy day.

New summer edible flower- Bachelor Buttons! Keep an eye on these plants and make sure you deadhead often if you're not eating the blooms - they can propagate themselves easily and have been known to become invasive in NC.
