Get the most important tasks done first. Every night before bed, I think about the next day. I am always planning ahead and that is the only reason I can get everything done in a day. I write down my 3-5 most important things I need to focus on the next day, and I do it as soon as I’m finished with my morning routine, and before I start work for the day.
In my career, I function the same way. I do the most important task for work or the most difficult one, first. This way, the rest of the day feels like a breeze and I’m not wasting any energy for the next few hours dreading the biggest task of the day.
