If you’ve been following me for awhile you might know that in addition to fantasy, romance, and memoirs, one of my other favorite book genres is cookbooks.

It has taken me awhile to make this simple little dream a reality… many chats with about a day in the kitchen together, and allllll the inspo from - I finally decided to do a practice run on making some homemade butter! 🧈

In honor of my new butter churner and cancelled Sunday plans, I bring you… butter making ASMR.

Did you know, this is the only series where I own multiple physical editions? I’m usually so reserved when it comes to buying alllll the copies (unless it’s on different mediums - because options), but for some reason I just can’t say no to these books.

I didn’t get to start reading during the day as planned - it was also a hair salon, errands, and work day. And my wedding anniversary, too! - so date night with the hubs takes priority. BUT I can’t wait to dive in tonight.

I’m so excited to start, but also nervous to. Rereading When the Moon Hatched was so much sadder the second time around knowing what I know, so I can’t even imagine what this book is going to do to me. But I know the pain will be beautifully written.

So maybe check in on your girl, yeah? 🥰

I have officially started my When the Moon Hatched reread ahead of the release of Ballad of Falling Dragons!

This has been one of my favorite books and only a few chapters in I’m already right back there with the story enveloping my brain.

I’m doing an immersive reread with audio and eyeball reading 👀 this go around. Would you believe that I didn’t highlight a single thing the first time I read this?? That’s about to change but all I can think is that’s how into it I was.
