Last week, Team Think Designs had the honor of sponsoring a golf hole and volunteering at the Catfish Classic Golf Tournament — North Carolina’s largest independent event supporting ALS United North Carolina.

It may have been in the mid-40s with some serious chilling wind, but the cause kept everyone warm. We were proud to stand alongside so many dedicated supporters, and I even got the chance to reconnect with an old colleague, Jessica Massey, who is heavily involved with the Catfish Classic.

This event holds incredible purpose: ALS—Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis—is a devastating neurodegenerative disease that gradually takes away muscle control while leaving the mind fully aware. With 5,000–6,000 new diagnoses every year in the U.S., the need for awareness, resources, and research has never been greater.

Named in honor of Jim “Catfish” Hunter, a North Carolina legend who lost his battle with ALS, the Catfish Classic continues its mission to raise funds and hope for those fighting this disease.

We’re grateful to play a small part in such an impactful event and will continue supporting the fight for a cause and a cure.
