Summer Camp Fair 2010 Information and resources for parents, families and children in Wilmington, North Carolina

We are offering a WILDERNESS FIRST RESPONDER COURSE (WFR) on NIGHTS & WEEKENDS from February 5th-14th in Chapel Hill. This course is widely recognized as the "gold standard" medical course for guides, trip leaders, camp staff, and other outdoor professionals.

This is a comprehensive course that covers a variety of topics from patient assessment and treatment of illnesses and traumatic injuries to the logistics of providing care in remote environments and foreign countries.
Our instructors are experienced professionals who are currently practicing Wilderness EMT's Paramedics and Physicians. Our course is centered around hands-on and scenario-based instruction with an emphasis on the latest evidence-based treatment guidelines.


We still have spaces available and would like to extend an invitation to those interested!

Weeknight Classes: From 6pm-10pm
Weekend Classes: From 8am-6pm

Course Fee: $400/person
