Yes! I strolled to the voting poll and casted my vote EARLY! I hope you do the same. And after you do, BEFORE you leave your voting site, see if it has a social media selfie set up. It may not be out front but somewhere close by on inside.

Not that I think a picture will encourage anyone to vote that’s decided not to, but it just might inspire someone that’s still undecided. You just don’t know. We ALL have some measure of influence even if we don’t realize it.

So if a picture is still worth a 1000s words, use your image to express your willingness to participate in the country’s political process, especially this year. The power of the right image, at the right time, shared with the right people can spark a movement, be a catalyst for change.

That said, be mindful of some of the imagery you see online. AI created imagery is growing rapidly, especially in social media. So just look twice or 3rd time when sharing some of the political imagery popping up in your feeds. If it appears unbelievable, it probably is.

So stop making it about the app and pleasing its ever changing algorithms. Find alternatives to connecting with your target markets. Shooo! Go old school and do events, workshops, or write a physical book and sell it offline AND online.

For us old heads what used to work still does. Add a layer of social media marketing to your efforts and you’re not totally dependent on a platform you have no control over for your business.
