Naked Thinking

All too often we hear great ideas from someone and find a way to discount them or find fault with them, only to praise someone else for their brilliance for saying the same thing! A kid comes home and raves over something someone on Tik Tok said and you stare in disbelief because only two days ago, you said the same thing with utter rejection. It's silly how that works.

Einstein is quoted for his definition of crazy. My definition of dumb is:

Monday Moon

When you do something a lot, like taking pictures for example, every so often something hits you that just sticks out as special. It isn't necessarily special to anyone else, but it is to you. This shot of the moon hit me. The color and lighting, and the clarity just captured my thoughts.

I call it Monday Moon. Why? I have always found titles to be important. They say something about what you're looking at. To me, this shot looks like the Moon is waking up. It's only half lit up. Like recovering from a long weekend getting started for a work week, it made me think of me in times gone by. Mondays are not like that for me anymore, but I remember them all too well. Here he is; Mr. Moon putting on his garb and rising in the sky for another day's work.

As I say, it may not seem special to anyone else, but to me, it says, "Let's begin anew." ~pHil
