Somehow I started following RG3 on facebook, but this morning I am glad. He pass on this great message which is good for anyone to hear. I really didn't know anything about James Van Der Beek other than Dawson's Creek, but his died yesterday of colorectal cancer at age 48. His message here is simple and beautiful.
Let his death be a nudge to you. Here are two simple things you can do to reduce your risk:
- Eat your veggies to reduce your risk
- Ask your doctor about screenings for colon cancer in case the veggies didn't work
Early detection is key in winning the fight against this cancer that seems to be impacting younger people.
You are worthy.
