Another sad note for the class, Thomas William (Willie) Wolfe, III died on June 5, 2025.

Thomas William Wolfe III, “Willie”, age 62, passed away on June 5, 2025 following a brief battle with cancer.

He is survived by his three sisters, Martha (Eugene) White of Fuquay Varina, NC, Rebecca (Keith) Harrison and Cynthia (David) Beaver of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by an uncle, Fletcher T. Wolfe of Highlands, NC and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Willie will be missed by his entire family.

Willie was predeceased by his parents, Thomas W. Wolfe, Jr. and Katherine F. Wolfe and a brother, Thomas E. Snotherly.

Willie was a kind and gentle soul who led a quiet life. He was talented in the arts, and he enjoyed working with his hands. He will be remembered fondly for his work on props and scenery for church programs and other projects.

Willie was employed at Food Lion at Lake Boone Trail where he had wonderful friends and co-workers.

He had a heart for animals, especially cats. He made sure strays were fed and petted. He will be missed by his adopted cat Junior.

The family appreciates the care he received from Liberty Hospice and the Roxboro Rehab Facility in Roxboro, NC.
