Help! Fellow jewelry designers and aficionados: I want to set a bezeled stone on the face of a faceted stone like the one on the top left. Do things like this have a name? I’ve seen “troll beads” here and there but those seem more like a Pandora bead. I have googled everything I can think of to try and find a technique video.
Are they just glued on top?
Do you drill and/or hand carve onto the face?
So many questions!
I’m open to the idea of making things like the bottom two that appear to have threaded pins through, but ideally, I’d rather make it like the top two.
