Please check out our new therapeutic gaming group. Details below!
Table of Empowered Voices is a supportive, story-driven gaming group designed for individuals who want to build confidence and connection in a welcoming space.
Through a 9-week collaborative role-playing adventure, participants explore rich narratives, solve challenges together, and practice real-life social skills in a low-pressure, creative environment.
Each session blends imagination, teamwork, and guided reflection to help members gently face social anxiety, strengthen communication, and develop self-trust. No prior gaming experience is required—just a willingness to show up, be curious, and grow alongside others!
Whether you’re looking to feel more comfortable speaking up, deepen your sense of belonging, or build confidence in connecting with others, Table of Empowered Voices offers a place where every voice matters and every step forward is celebrated.

Creative Therapies and Wake Monarch Academy have come together again to serve youth in recovery. Before Covid stopped the world in its tracks, Creative Therapies hosted several of Wake Monarch Academy’s Alternative Peer Groups (APGs) which are groups allowing youth in recovery a fun, substance free place to go after school. This week, Creative Therapies began work as a community partner with Wake Monarch Academy by offering art therapy to the school’s students. Our art therapist, Nyisha Rogers, (pictured next to Leah Wright, Founder of WMA) loves working with teens and art therapy is her specialty. We are delighted to have a small hand in the care of these teens who work hard every day to stay sober. It takes a village!
Please contact Wake Monarch Academy at 919.925.6950 if you have a youth who could use a recovery-based environment to successfully pursue academic, personal, and professional goals.
