And the fund’s overall performance during those 14 years collectively?

The 4th percentile. 🏆

In the world of investing, consistency reigns supreme. However, consistent results can be incredibly difficult to come by when trying to time the market and/or play the role of stock-picker. For this reason, we encourage investors to utilize index or other broad market funds in order to mitigate risk and maximize long-term outcomes. 📈

This year alone we’ve seen a 23% decline in the S&P 500 from its all time high, followed by a 16% rally in June through August, and now a subsequent fall back to the lowest levels seen earlier in the year. 📊
