| In a recent interview with WFAE 90.7, Charlotte's NPR news source, Shaw University sophomore Mass Communication major and men's soccer student-athlete Jacky Fulu Kiazayadioko reflected on the excitement surrounding the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the opportunity it presents to elevate HBCU soccer.

A proud supporter of the Democratic Republic of the Congo national team, Kiazayadioko also shared his aspirations of competing at the international level one day.
