Most people don’t realize this until they need it:

❌ Major dental work can come with a 12-month wait
✅ But some plans offer no waiting period for major dental work

If you’ve been putting off treatment, or just want to understand what options may be available, send me a message and I’ll be happy to help.

Volunteering with The Senior Network monthly at The Willows at Raleigh brings me so much joy. We always have music, a guest speaker, raffle, lots of laughter and just good ole' conversation. Heart warming moments and the residents truly enjoy it, too!

Thanks to Dr. Gabriel Trincado, DPT of Triangle Concierge Physiotherapy for cohosting with me each month. https://www.facebook.com/Triangleconciergephysio

Hospital stays can create unexpected out-of-pocket costs, even when you already have health insurance.

Have Medicare Advantage, ACA, or a high deductible health plan?

Hospital indemnity pays a daily benefit for each day someone is hospitalized, helping fill the gap between what health insurance covers and what actually hits the bank account during a hospital stay.

It’s a simple way to add another layer of financial protection when the unexpected happens.

Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

Today we celebrate 250 years of freedom, opportunity, resilience, and the enduring spirit that has shaped our nation.

As we gather with family, friends, and neighbors, may we take a moment to appreciate the sacrifices made by those who came before us and the blessings we enjoy today.

Wishing everyone a safe, joyful, and memorable Fourth of July!

I love supporting local businesses and having coffee with new business connections.

Meeting Diana Littleton with Your Next Chapter to start the morning exploring ways to support each other and our clients was invaluable.

Diana guides inviduals and families with compassion through senior transitions such as downsizing, organizing and decluttering. She helps remove the overwhelm that comes with a senior's next steps in life.

If you are looking for a new quaint coffee spot, check out The Village Coffeehouse at historic Durant Village on Durant Road. Hatem, the owner, made a perfect cup of joe with a hint of lavender and honey. Delicious!

I'm just part of the puzzle helping seniors. Meeting other professionals to help complete the puzzle allows me to further assist my clients.

Oral health is more than keeping your teeth clean and your smile looking good.

Research has linked poor oral health to conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and other health concerns. That's one reason regular dental checkups and cleanings are so important.

The challenge? Many people put off dental care because of the cost.

Dental insurance can help make preventive care more affordable, making it easier to stay on top of your health before small issues become bigger (and more expensive) problems.

When was your last dental checkup? And do you have dental insurance?

Medicare isn't something you sign up for once and move on. There are actually several decisions that need to happen in a specific order, inside specific windows, before you turn 65.

Here's what needs to be on your radar:

👉 Whether to take Part B now or delay it based on your current coverage situation.

👉 What your employer coverage actually means for your enrollment timeline and whether it qualifies as creditable coverage.

👉 Whether Original Medicare or Medicare Advantage is the right fit for your doctors, your prescriptions, and how you use your coverage.

👉 Whether you need a standalone Part D drug plan and what happens if you skip it.

👉 Whether a Medigap supplement makes sense for your situation before those enrollment protections expire.

Most people don't know these decisions exist until they're already in the middle of them. That's when mistakes happen.

You don't have to figure out the Medicare maze on your own. I'm here to help you.
