I cant believe I actually did it.

After years of academic probation and failing grades, I did not think college was going to be for me. I had a lot of doubts about myself my first year of college and had an overwhelming feeling that I wasn’t supposed to be here… that I didn’t earn my spot.

Today, I am so proud of myself for how hard I worked and I am forever grateful for my family, my friends, and most importantly for supporting me throughout my 4 years.

I now get to say with the biggest smile on my face that I am a college graduate, which is something 18 year old Maris never thought she was going to get to say.

Giving myself the biggest pat on the back 🍾❤️
