My Restore Yourself Moment
7.21.26 đź’š

This morning I woke up feeling really good. While I was drinking my water, I decided it was the perfect morning to spend some time stretching and focusing on my breathing.
I spent about 30 minutes moving my body. I don't know the names of all the stretches, but I do know they made me feel better and got my blood flow going more.

Today I gave a little extra love to the parts of my body that often get overlooked-my ankles, hands, fingers, and toes. I rotated my joints, pointed and flexed my feet, curled and relaxed my toes and opened and closed my hands.

My glutes and hips are also areas that need extra attention, so | laid on my back and did windshield wipers. One of my favorite stretches I usually encourage people to try is putting my legs up on the wall—it feels good for my glutes, low back, and hamstrings.
Take a look at the photos to see some of the other stretches I did
today.

I encourage you to challenge yourself today and get your joints and muscles moving.

Ground With Me This Week

This week, I'm inviting you to join me for just 5-10 minutes each day.

No perfection. No pressure.
NO PHONE though
Just a few moments to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.

Whether you walk barefoot in the grass, sit outside with your morning coffee, or simply take a few deep breaths, let's make ourselves a priority this week.

I would your pictures and/or comments.

Have a beautiful week!

Today my Restore Yourself moments came in many different forms.

A barefoot walk in the grass early this morning.

Time in the sauna.

Baking homemade bread to give away. Even though my dietary changes mean I can’t eat it anymore, I still enjoy making it for others.

Sitting outside with my feet up, enjoying the company of my furry kids.

I had a lot I wanted to get done today, but I knew my body needed the rest just as much.

Sometimes it’s simply giving yourself permission to slow down.

My Restore Yourself moment

Today, I'm simply sitting outside in my yard, taking in all the beauty around me and thinking about the many things I have to be grateful for.

Sometimes, restoring yourself is simply slowing down long enough to notice the good that's already around you. ♥️
