In 2021 I won best comeback coder for being able to articulate and explain our app that will close the food desert crisis in Racine. My award was a $2000 Gateway Technical College Foundation scholarship. That scholarship allowed me to enroll in the Web-IT program where I got my IT Helpdesk specialist Certificate from Google. In 2023 I received a contract to introduce Racine Unified students to Coding and Stem,thanks to Alonzo Payne and Payne & Frazier Consultants, LLC. As a result of the Contract I was able to hire staff to help assist with the ratio of students (5:1). Looking back, I’m reminded to stay focused because I’m getting started and the best is yet to come .
