Koss Accounting Solutions had a great time attending the RAMAC networking event tonight at the Racine Art Museum.

Position: Experienced Bookkeeper
Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour

We are looking for an experienced accounting professional who can support client bookkeeping, month-end close, and financial reporting.

This is a part-time hybrid position based near Racine, WI. We are looking for someone local who can work independently, take ownership of their work, and grow with the company.

Responsibilities:
• Code bank and credit card transactions accurately
• Enter and code vendor invoices
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Assist with month-end close
• Maintain clean books across multiple clients
• Apply class tracking, locations, and multi-entity coding
• Identify discrepancies and follow through on resolution
• Communicate clearly on questions or missing information

Required Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
• Strong understanding of debits, credits, and reconciliations
• Experience supporting month-end close
• Ability to work independently without step-by-step direction
• Strong computer and organizational skills

You must be comfortable:
• Navigating multiple systems and software platforms
• Working in Excel and shared drives
• Managing files and folders efficiently
• Switching between QBO, email, spreadsheets, and client systems without confusion

This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone confident and efficient using technology in a professional environment.

Preferred Experience:
• Public accounting or multi-client bookkeeping experience
• Experience with class tracking or multi-entity environments
• Prior work with small businesses or nonprofits

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys clean, accurate books, takes initiative, solves problems, and wants flexibility while growing with a small expanding firm.
