Adventure on Highland Little Free Library

Thank you to all of the wonderful book fairies who have so kindly restocked our little library over the last 2 weeks! We had an incredible outpouring of donations and now have a wide variety of books ready for the whole family.

For a little over 3 years now, our little free library has been open and sharing books with our neighborhood. We’ve had no issues and I think our community has enjoyed having the opportunity to go for a walk and come home with a book to read.

The “take a book, leave a book” motto has worked really well with only occasional additions needed. I recently refreshed all of the children’s books for summer just to add some variety. Unfortunately, at 1am this morning, we had all of the children’s books and most of the adult books removed from the library.

I apologize to our regular patrons, but it may be awhile before I have the library restocked as I purchased the majority of these books myself.
